Who are Stephen Ministers?
They are St. John congregation members who are trained by Stephen Leaders to offer high quality, one-on-one, confidential, Christ-centered spiritual care to people who are going through tough times.
What do they do?
Stephen Ministers walk with you as you are experiencing difficulties in your life. They listen, care and pray with you and for you for as long as you need them. They meet with you once a week for about an hour.
How do I connect with a Stephen Minister?
You can contact Pastors Andy and Emily, members of the Stephen Ministry Leadership Team (Del Ann Beltz, Dottie Epps, Betty Hertz, Carla Dudley) or any Stephen Minister… they are the ones wearing those blue name tags.
What happens after that?
You will be matched with a Stephen Minister and your healing will begin.
How do I become a Stephen Minister?
If caring for others is one of your God given skills and you feel called to join this ministry, training for new Stephen Ministers will be starting after the first of the year.
