Worship at St. John

What is worship like?

Each service has a unique character, but all share basic elements. In all services we pray individually and together, we hear the Word of God read from scripture, we hear the same sermon,  we sing, we receive an offering, and we are sent back into the world to share the love of Christ.

Sundays

8am Traditional Worship

A 40-minute service with hymns accompanied by organ or piano.

9:15am Traditional Worship

An hour-long service with hymns, a choir or bell choir, and a special time and message for children.

11:30am Contemporary Worship

An hour long service lead by our worship band. This service also includes a time for children.

Wednesdays

5:15 Wednesday Night Supper

St. John welcomes you to join us at our table for a weekly dinner before our Rewind Service. Click HERE for more details, the weekly menu, or to RSVP. All are welcome.

5:55pm Rewind Service

A 30 minute "rewind" of the previous Sunday's service for those who missed Sunday’s message.

Differently-Abled Persons

Our building is fully accessible and differently-abled persons worship regularly at St. John. We do our best to accommodate all persons, even when it means some minor disruptions may occur in worship. We are a family, and families accept one another’s differences. ASL Interpretation is often available at the 11:15 a.m. service (let the church office know if you need an interpreter and we'll set it up for you.)
